number plate surround
So had my car less than a week and already have bumped it into my wall.
Damaged the number plate but also scratched the number plate base (the bit between the number plate and the car).
Any one able to tell me the part number and or price so I can order one up?
Also the very slight impact seems to have cracked a little paint on the bumper. Not overly noticeable but now I know it's there I keep looking. Anyone ever had to have minor bodywork repaired and know if its a reasonable price to have done at a dealer or better off going to a specialist body shop?
Thanks for any info.

leeroy if the damage to the paint is small I suggest using the Langka paint repair process and doing it yourself, http://langka.com/. I have used it numerous times and I have been very happy with the results. I have noticed that the paint on the Crossfire appears to be very brittle. It never seems to fail that any time I exceed a 120 mph I find little nicks in the paint where the 3M Xpel full bra kit and a Chrysler vinyl bra don't cover. I think the paint damage is doing more to deter my speeding then the risk of a ticket and increase in insurance. Regarding the license plate bracket, just order a replacement from your dealer, it is just held on with two sheet metal screws so it would be easy to replace. I never installed mine, it's still sitting behind the passenger seat with it's mounting screws and the license plate is in the web pouch back there too.
Idaho, Thanks for the info!
The paint is cracked but not chipped so not sure if touchup and langka kit will help!?!
Have a mate of a mate who may come to look at it to see what can be done. My main worry is that the weather will get in there and start to lift the paint.
Maybe the new front grill will help cover it up.
