I found something at Walmart that works very well at keeping things from moving around in the cargo area. It's called Lock n Load. The package consists of three black plastic brackets that have a large sheet of hook fasteners (like velcro) on one side which firmly grabs onto the carpet. Cost: $9.97.

I'm quite pleased with them.
