Default So Happy with Crossfire Can't stand it!

I have owned my Crossfire for over a year and the stupid thing runs beautiful, What's Up? I really am enjoying this car is something wrong with me? Don't you hate the way everyone looks at your car? I can't believe it.

I have the most courteous 5 star dealer, what's wrong with this? I thought they all were incompetent? I am getting oil changes free for 3 years, what kind of deal is this I should have gotten it for the life of the car. Its not my fault it has a nearly 9 quart slump.

What really makes me mad is I can take 20 MPH curves at 60 MPH and the tires don't even squeal, thats no fun is it?

I have taken it on 3 long trips and not only was it comfortable but I felt fresh getting out of the car, now we all no that is totally Wrong, your should be tired after driving the car this long, we need changes!

German engineering, I think they should have consulted with the Asians, what do German engineers know, oops I forgot I am an engineer and am also German, but that is OK.

I think it is totally ridiculous when you have a car that is fun to drive, performs, well is trouble free, and turns heads, I should have got a Camry or an Accord! Ha, Ha, Ha, I think this Car is a Keeper, if you don't like get rid of it!

I couldn't agree more, it is frustrating to read all the negatives about this car and dealers, I have had nothing but good experiences with mine. I must admit I have owned a lot of cars in my life, but never any quite like this. When it is all said and done, it is just a blast to drive, and I love the attention !

Bingo! But maybe you should talk to FirebaseD, who posted some rather different conclusions earlier today.

Well said! The Crossfire is one of those cars that's more than the sum of its parts. No, it's never going to be better than at any one thing that some other cars, but it does a whole lot of stuff really well and is a great ride with a lot of class. It's the best car I have ever owned and a keeper.

You rock!!! And I agree. This is the most fun car I have owned.
I have owned faster and bigger and such but this is the most fun.
Oh and I have had minimal problems. Seat heater and a little headlamp condensation.

i totally agree...with the last part. i don't like it so i'm trying to get rid of it. not for an accord or camry, but a viper or slk55, and trust me i can't wait to part with this thing.

in all honesty it hasn't been a bad experience. it was my first car loan and i guess you have to start somewhere.

Thank you for your honesty, There is an old saying, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Agreed. If you don't like the car then sell it and move on but whatever you do quit neeping.

What is neeping?

The sound a bunch of people make who individually are whiners. The sound waves from the various whining frequencies interfere with each other and cancel out much of the noise, and what is left sounds like this:

neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep
neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep
neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep
neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep
neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep
neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep neep

Kinda sounds like crickets chirping on a summer evening.

I have owned several BMWs, 2 Porsches, 2 Mercedes, 4 Saabs, 1 Oldsmobile, and a Sterling Rover and the Crossfire is easily up there with the Mercedes and BMW as far as quality and just short of the Porsche on quality and fun factor.

Easily in the top 3 cars I've owned and I love it. Its got just enough power to be fun but not be stupid and enough comfort to take me anywhere with my woman without her complaining that the ride is to harsh like in the Porsche. I love it. And don't get me started on the way it looks.

Couldn't agree more! Driving this car has officially turned me into a car "person"...and everyone thought I was buying it to "look cute" in it! What's up with that? Geeze...some people!!!

You all Rock, I wrote this as a knee jerk reaction to FirebaseD's thread. I know some of his issues are common such as the fogging of the lights but the dealer will fix it. I feel bad that he has a lemon, but to call all Crossfires junk mad me a little upset. I spent months researching before I bought this car and I took his comment as a personal slam on my own decision making process. I know he did not mean it that way that is why I said knee jerk. With all of your responses I know there is a lot more people out there enjoying this car than not.
