Default Air intakes slk320

Has anyone tried these air intake filters? They look cool.

Is it my imagination, or is that a Crossfire in the second picture?

That's right it is a xfire. Have you heard anything about these filters? I've noticed most of the xfires are using K&N aftermarkets.

i believe these are the ones "acrispy1" is using.

they seem too short for any performance gains. sucking nothing but hot engine compartment air.

probably sounds faster though.

I was wondering the same thing Andrew. At least the system the car came with is basically a cold air induction system. The ones in the picture look faster but I really wonder.

They are the ones I have. I didn't notice any performance gains or loss, but it does sound better.

Here's a pic.

Well I hope I like them. It's going to cost me another $75.00 to get down here to Mexico. Someone had an interesting comment (that the air takes would pull in hot air not cold air). I'll play around with them.
