No Crossfire wave!
Re: No Crossfire wave!
Waves are also pretty common among bikers. I usually raise my hand slightly off the handle bar when I'm riding , both hands have to stay on the bar here in MI with all the damn pot holes and people using their cell phones or doing something else beside paying attention to their driving... Anyway, I don't know if you can call it a wave, its more like a polite recognition of a fellow rider.
Now when it comes to the XF, I only wave if I'm being waved at, unless its a female XF driver...Then I will be the first to wave...Haven't had too much luck so far...LOL.

Re: No Crossfire wave!
I wave or give recognition to almost any sports car, or muscle car driver, that I find myself in close proximity with (you know can actually see the color of the driver's eyes)... I do not care if they speak back at me or not... I do not give it a second thought. I do not allow it to eat away at me all day long, never leaving my mind, always in the back of my head. I do not set and consider, not even for a second, "did that person see me or was he or she avoiding me, maybe they were thinking how much better then me they are, maybe they were just a bunch of do gooders, upper class rich a holes" "maybe they just felt superior, more educated, or his or her noise was just to high in the air"...
Anyway I never give it a second thought, and you never really know what the other person has on his or her mind, so when all is said and done, maybe we should not give any recognition at all to strangers driving Crossfires. hooah.

There are a lot more Vettes out there than XF's and a lot more Corvette clubs and events. When you buy a Vette you buy into a massive club environment. Vette people are all the time getting together with other Vette people at events. Also, my Vette isn't a daily driver as are most and when we do take it for a spin I am looking for that brotherhood that exists and of course we wave. Not to mention the Corvette Cops will kill you if you don't!
Women are less likely to wave than men as it might be construed as a too friendly jester.
