Greetings from the Far East!
Hey guys, wanted to officially say "Hi" and let all of you know that the Crossfire is alive and well here in South Korea as well.
Check out my gallery to find out for yourself that it ain't only about the rice and nuclear detonations here on the Korean peninsula! ^^

Re: Greetings from the Far East!
Great to see your pic's of your clubs gathering. That's great that there are 70 Xf's in Korea. I don't think I've seen 70 on all of Long Island since the cars been out. Really terrific hearing your perspective on the car and its popularity in your hometown and nation. Keep up your posting. I think it’s amazing what a truly small community this world is when we can instantaneously talk to our friends on the other side of the planet that we have a common interest with. Welcome to our little community.

Welcome to the forum...my brother just got orders to go to South Korea. I think he'll be leaving the States in Mar '07 or somewhere around that time. He's not an XF owner but he envious of mine. He's got an S2K (I'm trying to get him to leave it with me ).

Re: Greetings from the Far East!
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I'll make sure to update all of you on
Crossfire-related activities here in Korea and in the East Asian area in general.
Also, if you guys have any questions concerning Korea or just simply want information, don't hesitate to ask!! (Hopefully non-political that is... ^^).

Re: Greetings from the Far East!
Howdy Porterhouse (I'm replying back to you via this thread since your inbox is overstuffed).
It's a pleasure to meet your acquaintance.
In response to your compliments on my English, my proficiency stems from the fact that I was born and raised in New York City until the age of 5, at which time my family moved permanently to Seoul, Korea. My parents thought it would be best if I received an American education, thereby enrolling me into an international school here in Korea (this, added to the fact that I received both my university and MBA diploma in the states, pretty much explains it all).
And to answer your question above, I have yet to encounter a SRT-6 here in Korea. Daimler-Chrysler does not import the SRT-6 (only the Limited Coupe and Roadsters are available. But being that you can pretty much purchase any vehicle here in Korea through the grey market, I wouldn't be surprised if I catch one rolling on by someday.
Anyways, I look forward to trading much information regarding our XFires, as well as casual information regarding Korea in the days to come.
Thanks for the welcome!!
