Lightbulb Clarification in the trunk area.

What are the two protruding tabs used for that are located just under the top/back area of the sub box that separates the cockpit and the cargo areas? Is it a luggage issue? Have been wondering for a while.

I would presume that it's for some kind of cargo net or luggage, but I have been unable to find out myself... inquiring minds want to know.

It has been told in other threads that they are to secure the Touring Gear luggage. I have looked in every pocket of my luggage and have yet to find the strap others have mentioned. Maybe I should call the manufacture and ask if I am missing something.

Do a search and you will find lots on this topic.

I think the luggage hooks up to them, but I don't know for sure since I've never had my luggage out of the plastic bag they came in.

Thanks for all of the responses. They are for luggage security. The strap also works really well in securing my back pack or whatever else slides all over the place whenever I'm cornering.
