Default tire sensors

If I put new tire and wheels on do I need to get tire sensors, or can you go without? If so do they need to be programmed to your car or will a Chrylser set work that has been taken off another car?

You don't have to buy sensors, but you will always have the message icon on your cluster indicating their is a fault. If that doesn't bother you, you should be ok.
