Please, NO more Chrysler/MB joint ventures!!!

Chrysler needs to stay with designing and building their own cars here
in the U.S. Once was enough with the Crossfire. If I want a MB, I'll buy
one. Chrysler selling and servicing a German made car is a disaster... at
least it was with the Crossfire.

And the service we're getting on a German car at an American price? Hardly German quality.
Chrysler techs and everyone else in the dealership shudders when they see a Crossfire pull in.
No thanks... in the future if I want a German car, I'll go to the dealership that sells them and has
qualified techs that are familiar with them. But then, if you want a German car at cheaper prices
and the lessor level of service that goes along with one being sold by Chrysler, go for it.

...just my .02 cents, for whatever it's worth.

It seems the only way an American car company can build a decent car is by reskinning those German Machines. I say go for it as long as it looks good people will put up with the small problems. It's all 90% looks, the other 10% people will suffer for it.

I'm having trouble with my Crossfire, but the only reason I still drive it is because of the looks and the peppy motor. And if I knew all this would happen, I probably still take the Crossfire over a reliable Honda product.

With more German Equipment perhaps the training of technicians, availability of parts, and Quality will improve!

Have not had a single problem with my crossfire other than getting the headlights replaced for fogging. Drove it all last winter, and love the car.

Car looks a bit like an Acura TL. I'm all for the sharing of the German genes. Can only help.
