2005 Crossfire Limited Question
2005 Crossfire Limited Question
Hello. I am looking into purchasing a Crossfire. I found one locally that was listed at $21,995. I called the dealer and they said I could buy it for $21,000 plus tax and title. It is an '05 white Limited Coupe with only 3K miles. Is that a good deal? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Re: 2005 Crossfire Limited Question
I paid 24k "out the door" (tags, title, taxes, transfer fees, etc) and no financing through the dealership. Mine had 13,600 miles on it. Kelly Blue book listed mine for just under $27k, my dealership was asking KBB and my Credit Untion said I got a good price. .02
Re: 2005 Crossfire Limited Question
That sound fair but it can't hurt to haggle...
I bought an '04 leftover over a year ago during the employee pricing thing and paid 23k new for my limited.
The marked has gone up since then but there are still killer deals out there if you are willing to walk away...
Best of luck.

Re: 2005 Crossfire Limited Question
I think that's a pretty good price for an '05 limited coupe. You might be able to haggle a little bit considering it's winter time. I bought mine in october (a certified used '04 black limited coupe w/ 4,500 miles and 18 months left on bumper to bumper warranty, also ups the powertrain warranty to 8/80) for 18K. You just have to gauge how eager the dealer is willing to make a sale.

Also, like someone else said... If you can afford a little more, just wait and you'll be able to find a SRT-6.
I'm kicking myself now that I didn't wait.. you can get an SRT-6 for a really good price.
Re: 2005 Crossfire Limited Question
HI Cfire520,
It seems that lots of us have been introduced to this great car because there are lots of low mileage "executive driven" cars out there at unbelievable prices.
I bought mine in August for $21,000 (US) with 1,700 miles on it and I love it! I think that there is a small window of opportunity to score a car like mine or the one you almost got because they're so rare and almost none were sold in 2006. Good luck hunting! A Xfire is worth every penny of the retail price and seriously undervalued at the moment. IMHO.

And this one is very clean, if you don't mind 50K miles. This can probably be had for pretty cheap, and with that many miles, it probably runs good.

Re: 2005 Crossfire Limited Question
I just bought my '05 XF Ltd. with just under 6,000 one owner miles for $22,000. With my trade in I paid a trade difference of $17,000. I made $1,500. on my trade over what I had originally paid for it. I thought I made a good deal and my wife and I are crazy about our little Blaze Red Coupe!
Re: 2005 Crossfire Limited Question
Bought a new 2005 Coupe with six-speed yesterday from a local dealer for $23,000. Had admired the car on the dealer's lot for some time and found that with the month (and year!) almost over, the sales manager was desperate to move the vehicle before 2007. Tax/title/tags were extra of course, but the final selling price left me room to add the 7/70 full vehicle protection plan and still come in $10k under sticker.
I'm aiming to keep the car long-term as it won't be my primary vehicle, but how else was I going to sneak into a German touring car for that money?
