Default I've just got to ask...

Can anyone actually fit a decent-sized umbrella in their so-called "umbrella holder?"

Those little hook loops between the seats. You can put an umbrella back there. However, you should move the seats forward enough so the umbrella can have enough space.

Personally, I 'hook' my car wash punch card in one.

I use the "umbrella holder" by the passenger's leg room for a water bottle (and even that's a tight fit). I hook my umbrella's handle strap to one of the hooks behind the seat. I keep a golf umbrella in the trunk.

I used the umbrella holder mounts to support my Windscreen.

I hang my umbrella by its strap on one of the hooks and my Crossfire ball cap on the other.

I do the same PJA...a folding umbrella fits just fine on my hook...but then again I have a small umbrella. My full size umbrella gets placed in the back, I just reach over and pull it through when I need it.

No umbrella needed, Crossfire doesn't get wet except when I wash it...

I use the hooks on mine to hold 2 crossfire ball caps, one for me and one for my wife.

Here's mine. But to be honest I often forget it. So quick running through the rain is inevitable.

I do the same, but my wife doesn't like hats, so one is for my Crossfire hat, and the other for my White Sox, or Bears hat.

I have an umbrella hanging there just incase I need it for a lady in the car.
Other than that I just walk between the rain drops.

When I was your age, I too presented a smaller target to the falling rain and a fleeter foot.

Now I keep an umbrella hanging on each hook. One for a possible "lady in the car". And one for ME!

An umbrella holder, you say?! I've been using mine for ball caps and dress gloves, like the little clip thingies on the back of old church pews!

My umbrella lives in the net holder on the left side of the passenger footwell. I never thought of hanging it off the hook!!
