Default ML55 Engine...

LOWERED PRICE!!!! $2750 for ALL or $2250 for Engine and MCU

So I have been emailed by a couple people with Crossfires and I think it would be AWESOME to swap this motor in one! I hate parting out my car and wish I could put the engine in something else but I cant...so hopefully someone on here could!

I am parting out my 2000 ml55. The engine and trans are in great shape. They are still currently running (if I re-connect the battery). The engine has just over 100k on it. Mostly highway miles from driving cross country a few times when gas was cheaper

Any questions just ask...

I initially said shoot me an offer on the engine and trans and mcu given that they go for around 6k. I am in a bind and trying to offload this asap and will take $4500 for the engine, trans and mcu. Or I would take $3500 for just the Engine and MCU. I will also include any additional wiring, accessories, etc that are needed.

Email me at jefferinoenterprises@gmail.com or PM for more details

I am on benzworld and mbworld if you need references. Also I have 100% positive feedback on eBay under user name jefferino_enterprises and am paypal verified as well. I can easily provide references if you would like to ensure your ease of mind

This is the AMG Aluminum V8 pushing 350+hp.

If you can find a v8 with ecu for less than 2,000 it is DEFINITELY not the AMG. You can get the 430 engine for that much but no where near the performance of the AMG. Also, the AMG motors are made by hand in Germany.

yeah lantanatx is doing the swap with the 430 motorat about 275hp stock.

this would be a beast with the 55 motor and 350+ hp

though honestly you'd be better off buying an SRT-6 unless you just wanted to be a unique pioneer!!

Don't discourage anyone.. I want to see crossfires advance, it is definately a car that should have been more from the factory! A v8 with a stick would have made it a much more popular car. But of course the lowly chrsyler cannot outdo its mercedes counterpart, as it would be detrimental to mercedes' sales. The v8 would have a totally different feel than the srt's supercharged v6. Torque makes cars more fun, and this motor is from a truck... My manager keeps telling me to put an ls6 into mine.. putting ideas in my head..

My engine is not a 430, it is a 500 from a CL500 that was totaled in the rear alomost as soon as it left the showroom and has over 300hp stock. the 5.5L is more desireable than the 5.0 I have. And yes i paid under $2K for a virtually brand new engine. It was a rare find, but with patience you can find similar deals. to use this engine in a Crossfire you will still need the C43/CLK55 exhuast manifolds and maybe a different intake/engine cover from a car with the dual filters built into the cover.

I am one of those that spoke with this seller. Not to rain on his parade but you'll need the whole oil pan and headers from an E,C or S series to work. They are completely different different on the ML, and 4-Matic cars.

I can understand everyone's trepidation here with this swap however the motor is the same as the E and C55s. It is a torque monster and has a ton of horsepower. I honestly would love to see this. I would definitely work with someone on pricing to get this thing sold as I really am looking to get it out of my garage. I am not going to give it away and the ml500 motor for under 2k is one HELL of a deal but as was said the 55 AMG motor is much different in power, construction, etc. There are engines online now with similar miles for over $6,000!! However, I am a personal seller and not some scrapper like most of the others online. You would be helping my wife and I get out of a very bad situation we are in with this truck and its respective debts.

Please feel free to email or pm me with ANY questions, concerns anything!

Still seems a little high for an engine with over 100K miles. Here is a 5L with only 38K miles for $2375.

Big difference between the standard Mercedes 5L and the AMG 5.4L...Also this is just the longblock. I am also including the MCU which is several hundred dollars, additionally I am including the wiring harness and accessories. So for less than $1000 more you get a much better engine, much more power, all of the accessories, wiring harness and MCU....

Okay so I REALLY need this thing out of my garage. I am only asking $2750 for the engine, mcu and trans. If you want the engine only and mcu I'll take $2250. This is crackhead pricing but I really need it gone and need the $

Ok guys, this is now priced pretty darn good. If you are thinking of a V8 conversion this might be a good way to go. The trans may not be useable since it is most likely a four wheel drive but you proably don't need the trans.
