Not that it is any of my business but why are you selling?
You may want to consider selling some of your goodies off on ebay as many buyers won't understand the difference many of you mods made.
Best of luck.
Start high! You can always go down...

As said by stryfox in his post above, your best bet would be to sell your mods 'unless' you find a buyer
that is willing to pay above KBB. Otherwise, you will never recoup the cost of your mods. Typically, such
mods rarely increase a vehicle's value, in fact they may depreciate the value.

Currently, KBB private party sale price for your car is $21,055 (that takes into account of a premium stereo
system). Add on what you want you think your mods cost, and lower the price accordingly if the car doesn't
sell.

Good luck.

If you decide to sell some of the mods. p.m. me. I'd be interested in some of them.

No way that is accurate $21,000 is way too high for private party on our cars with 20k on the clock. It's more like $17,000 with 20k miles. I know it sucks, even when comparing it to the SLK320, the Chrysler just won't hold any value.

My '04 that I just traded in is just about like yours. I got $16,500 for the trade. The XF never made it to the used car lot. A salesman bought it for around $18K. The XF only had 13,000 miles on it.

I quoted Kelly Blue Book, which is a recognized source for car values for most lenders and dealers.
I would never accept less for my vehicles, unless I was desperate to sell one of them.

I'm selling my XFIREX and will use that money to buy either a Lotus Elise/Exige or a used Viper.

One guy actually offered 25k for my XFIREX with all the goodies included. We haven't closed our deal yet.

Mods in my XFIREX are like 12k plus and I can't believe I spent that much for stereo and appearance only!

Hi there,

Am not too sure if you still log into your account here.

Still, I wish you all the best to both - selling your Xfire and getting a Lotus Elise/Exige or Viper.

You are among the valuable members of this forum.

Your knowledge and your care to share them here have benefited many of us.

At times, I don't know how to ask questions about certain problems concerning my xfire, I just have to hunt them here and I found the answers. Some came from your contributions.

If I never said this before, I'll say it now, I thank you very much.

Even if lesser time spend, hope you won't forget this forum and please do share with us the joy of your new pride.

You will be missed, to say the least. You've been a wealth of knowledge for many of us and have offered some very useful tips that even the dealer did not know!

You will be missed but drop in every now and then to let us know how much you miss your Crossfire!

Take care!
