Does this occur with anyone else? At very low speeds, pressing the clutch sometimes results in a "clunk" and slight jerk. In other words, it isn't smooth. This is when the car is in gear, and I'm about to put it into neutral so I can make a stop. It happens in first sometimes, and almost always in reverse. Is this normal?
Re: Sometimes a "clunk" when pressing the clutch at low speeds.
I get a clunk on occasion when shifting from first to second and second to third. The clunk sound happens when I press the clutch in to shift. I had it in to my trusty dealer for this but they could not hear it. It was raining on the day I took it in and they say the clunk and my wind noise must of been covered up by the rain.
The clunk sounds almost like the clutch plate is sticking and then releases. The sound comes from behind the seat area.

I get this too. My guess is that usually it happens at low speeds, coasting, while slowing down, so there is compression slowing happening and there is tension that builds in the drivetrain and it is all released at once and the clutch somehow doesn't want to disengage so it sticks a little. It happens to me when I am coasting in 2nd gear slowing me a bit downhill, or 1st coasting as well, usually the RPM's high enough to have the effect of slowing the car.
