SRT6 Bumper on a Roadster
SRT6 Bumper on a Roadster
I'm looking to get a primed SRT6 front bumper and replace the stock one on a roadster because the extra bottom lip from the SRT6 bumper really adds character to the car in my opinion.
The thing is, i'm on http://www.chryslerpartsdirect.com/ under:
Chrysler 2005 Crossfire: Collision Catalog --> Front bumper --> Bumper cover --> Primed
I see one that says w/o srt6 and w/ srt6... i'm assuming w/ srt6 is the SRT6 model front bumper. Here's the weird thing:
w/srt6 is priced at $292 and w/o srt6 is priced at $432... uhh... i must be reading things wrong? Because the SRT6 should obviously be more expensive than the non-SRT6 front bumper.
Thoughts?!
Thanks guys,
Julian

Re: SRT6 Bumper on a Roadster
ya, thanks. i'm going to do this for sure. i'll get it, match the black colour of my '05 roadster. and then i'll get some pics up. after purchase price and install plus paint it'll prob cost around $550. i say it's worth it, the front will look a lot 'meaner', and i hate the srt6 wheels and the srt6 spoiler, so i keep what i like about the roadster but get the best part about the srt6 (well aside from the increased power lol).

Re: SRT6 Bumper on a Roadster
I'm actually getting my SRT-6 bumper shipped out today and bought it painted for only $600 total. I talked to the people I bought it from and Chrysler only had 2 SRT bumpers when they ordered mine so they might be on backorder now.
Also, with my paint it's a 3 stage Base/Clear Pearlcoat. The guy I talked to said he got an earful from his boss because the paint is really expensive due to the Pearl, so I got a hell of a deal. Hopefully it'll look alright when I get it but my paint looks pretty much new anyway. I would get a price quote on the paint cause it might be more expensive than that depending on the color.
