passenger door rattle
my passenger door rattles pretty much all the time especially at speeds over 60 or so. I know people have had this problem before. Give me some ideas on what it could be. It's annoying the hell out of me!!
Are the windows down? I've noticed that when closing the door with the window down the window will rattle inside the door, but when the window is up it closes without a sound.
The best thing to do is have someone drive with you or drive you and have them check where the rattle might be coming from. I've fixed a few rattles here and there and they were almost always were not where I originally thought they were coming from.
I've noticed my windows rattle with the window down too! Is this normal? I have not taken it in for service in fear it will come back in worse shape. Door panel scratches ect.

get it fixed, it's only a car.
A suggestion to ease your fears... have them look the area over with you and
agree there was no prior damage before they start work on it. In fact, it's
always a good idea to have the service writer do a quick walk around of your
car with you every time you take it in. If your car is always pristine and you show
concern they will quickly learn you are not the average guy that just drops a car
off and gets back in when they're finished with it and hopefully you will get better
service.

Chrysler service sure has a lot of Crossfire owners on edge when it comes to
getting their car worked on. I wonder if it's because active forum members
are more concerned and involved with their vehicle's than the average motoring
public or is it because of crappy service in general? I'd like to think it's because
most of us are more concerned rather than crappy service from the dealerships.
The fear of dealerships (myself included) has to be almost funny to someone who
happens upon this site for the first time and sees all the bad things written about
Chrysler service. But then that's another topic for another day, and I'm taking this
thread in another direction...
Good luck with the rattle.

Does anyone else with a convertible have rattles in the doors? Both of mine have done this since it was new and it makes the car sound cheap when someone shuts the door. I have had folks ask me about it.
