~ from my understanding the only 06's showing up in the u.s. are chrysler corporate cars. (some have resold on ebay).

 

Looks like they have dropped the Roadster Limited or still have an inventory of 2005's on hand.

 

It let me build the 2006 Roadster below so I guess you could order one? Don't know.

Interesting...the site shows an SRT6 Roadster with the heading "2006 Chrysler Crossfire" Didn't they announce that the SRTs would only be 2005 models?

Yeah, it shows the SRT6, but won't let you build one as a 2006.

 

Absolutely do not trust the colors you see on the internet DC site.
Before I bought my 2006 Roadster, I thought I was interested in the Gold.
I thought the Yellow was too bright.
When I got to see the actual colours on cars, was I surprised.
The Gold looked brown/grey, and the Yellow was lighter, more pastel.

I bought the Yellow, and love it. Does it ever draw attention.

On the Canadian DC site: www.daimlerchrysler.ca you can still build the 2006 with the SRT6.

 

when will they take the SLK350 and build a new crossfire, we need more power!!!

 

I don't think that anything like this will ever happen again, since crossfire was not exactly a success for Daimler-Chrysler auto group... and if you needed more power shoulda bought the srt ... I am kinda sad though that the firepower concept was bagged... I really liked the design, expected price, and performance of it.

I was on the Chrysler site the other day and they showed a Crossfire convertible in that Aztec Gold found on the Dream Cruizer PT and it looked very good IMO, check it out.
