Well, at least we outsold the Viper by more than 7 to 1...

Two thoughts...saw a new Sebring the other night on the road and it looked a lot better in the flesh than in pictures, and I wonder where those new Crossfire's were sold? I sure don't see them on the Chrysler lots around the DC area?

here's the real situation.

you guys should be thanking the lack of sales, the lack of sales means our car is more rare.

the increased rarity results in crossfire owners (us) getting a significantly greater amount of "wow, that's a nice car".

think about it.

i'm happy no one buys them haha, makes my black roadster look all the more unique.

I think all Chrysler and Dodge products are taking a dump. I bet Nissan is taking a lot of customer's away from the domestic market, specially with their trucks.

couple reasons for poor sales:

no one knows what a crossfire is.

they are way too pricey for the complete lack of speed.

Just read today that DCX sales are up 3.2 % for month of January. Ford took a beating and GM was off too. Of course Toyota and Honda were up as was Nissan.

Over 300 folks bought new XFires last month. I wonder if any of them knew that barely used models are selling for 1/2 off MSRP.

I'm with Sidez and Nitro4. The less Crossfires the better as far as I'm concerned.
I think we need to stick together though (as we seem to be doing so far) with part manufacturers, etc. on getting Crossfire products to the market and keeping them available.

I also wonder about the 'new' sales. I bought mine with 3,500 miles on it from a dealer in MN. They got it from Chrysler, as it was an exec's car. I got some documents in the mail last week from Daimler Chrysler about the purchase of my 'new' Crossfire. Maybe if Daimler Chrysler had them for a few thousand miles and sold them - the purchaser is considered to have bought a 'new' car.

I believe they look at the definition of new as being the first registration of the vehicle.

Often they will affix mfg plates. These are recycled and put on other vehicles. Factory cars that fall under that category are most likely reported as new sales when someone purchases them through a dealer.

RPM should be expecting some luggage if he's a "new" owner.

Maxwell, I don't think so since Truck sales are up compared to same time last year.
