Default Passenger seat

I know I probably missed it somewhere in the manual and it probably has to do with the child restraint but can anyone tell me the purpose of the 5" snap on strap located on the top back of the passenger seat. I have a roadster so I don't know if the coupes have it. I just noticed it yesterday.

I've wondered about that myself.

Talking Re: Passenger seat

My wife has one on her car seat too. I was thinking maybe it is for hanging an article of clothing on a hanger. ???

I sure wouldn't try to put a hanger back there. The seat doesn't fold forward, does it. There has got to be some reason to have it their. Does anyone on the forum work for a dealer?

Cool Re: Passenger seat

It's for attaching the top strap of an infant/child car seat.
