Default March RIDE OF THE MONTH

PLEASE DO NOT POST COMMENTS TO THIS THREAD, THIS IS FOR VOTING PURPOSES ONLY... I WILL BUMP THIS THREAD TO THE TOP OF THE FORUM ON A DAILY BASIS... AND WILL START A DIFFERENT THREAD THAT EVERYONE CAN POST COMMENTS / COMPLAINTS TO...

I HOPE THIS THREAD IS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR THE ENTIRE CROSSFIRE COMMUNITY TO SHARE THEIR PRIDE AND ENJOYMENT OF OUR LITTLE ORPHANED AUTO KNOWN AS THE CROSSFIRE. THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION, IT IS A PARTICIPATION BY THE OWNERS AND MEMBERS WHO WISH TO SHOWCASE THEIR CROSSFIRE TO THE ONLINE WORLD... THIS IS NOT OFFICIALLY SANCTIONED / SPONSORED BY THE FORUM OWNER UNTIL WE HEAR FROM HIM... SOON I HOPE !

THIS THREAD & VOTING POLL WILL BE MANUALLY RE-GENERATED ON A MONTHLY BASIS AND IS CURRENTLY ONLY ABLE TO ACCEPT 10 SUBMISSIONS PER MONTH, SO GET YOUR CAR ALL SPIFFED-UP AND READY TO SUBMIT... EVERY MONTH WE WILL START FROM SCRATCH WITH A NEW POLL...

THE FIRST SUBMISSION SHOULD BE POSTED AND WILL BE ACCEPTED ON MARCH 1ST, 2007. ALL VOTES WILL BE TALLIED AND VERIFIED ON APRIL 1ST, 2007.

WHAT YOU'LL WIN, (NOTHING) FOR NOW, BUT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ADD THE BRAGGING RIGHTS TO YOUR ONLINE SIGNATURE. AND I'LL GENERATE META DATA TO YOUR POST AND PHOTOS THAT WILL BRING THEM UP ON INTERNET SEARCHES WORLDWIDE...

TEMPORARY RULES... NO CHANGING THEM TILL WE FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEMS ARE.

NO MODERATORS WILL BE ABLE TO SUBMIT THEIR CAR FOR CONSIDERATION, NOR WILL THEY BE ABLE TO VOTE... (WE HAVE ACCESS TO THE DELETE BUTTON) ALL MODERATORS WILL REVIEW THE RESULTS AND VERIFY AT THE END OF EVERY MONTH... IF THERE ARE ANY TIES, BOTH SUBMISSIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED IN FIRST PLACE...

VOTING:
(1) IN ORDER TO VOTE, YOU MUST BE A REGISTERED A MEMBER OF THIS FORUM ON, OR BEFORE JANUARY 1ST, 2007.
(2) YOU CAN ONLY VOTE ONCE
(3) YOU CAN VOTE FOR YOUR OWN CAR

SUBMISSIONS:

WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR SUBMISSION, YOU WILL HAVE TO ASSIGN YOURSELF A NUMBER BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE SUBMITTED BEFORE YOU... I HAVE CREATED A POLL THAT HAS VOTING FOR NUMBERS 1-10... SO WHEN YOU MAKE YOUR SUBMISSION PLEASE LOOK TO SEE HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE SUBMITTED BEFORE YOU, THEN POST YOUR NUMBER AT THE BEGINNING AND AT THE END OF YOUR SUBMISSION. BOLD TYPE WOULD BE RECOMMENDED...

PLEASE SUBMIT THREE PHOTOS OF YOUR CROSSFIRE AND NAME THEM SOMETHING THAT HAS THE WORDS "CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE"... FOR EXAMPLE, "HDDP CHRYSLER CROSSFIRE PHOTO 3", THIS WILL LET THE INTERNET ROBOTS THAT ROUTINELY SCAN THESE WEBSITES TO BE ABLE TO TAG THE PHOTO FOR INTERNET SEARCHES ON SEARCH ENGINES... SUBMIT THE PHOTOS TO BOTH YOUR GALLERY AND TO THE POST... TRY TO KEEP THE WIDTH OF YOUR PHOTOS TO LESS THAN 8" SO THE WIDTH OF THE THREAD STAYS CONSISTENT.

ALSO INCLUDE A SHORT STORY / PARAGRAPH OR TWO, OF YOUR HISTORY WITH THE CROSSFIRE, WHY YOU BOUGHT IT, WHY YOU LOVE IT, WHY YOU HATE IT, WHAT MODIFICATIONS, ETC... BE CREATIVE... IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MODS PER SE', IT'S ABOUT YOU AND YOUR RELATIONSHIP / EXPERIENCES WITH YOUR VEHICLE OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT YOU THINK WOULD BE INTERESTING...

JUST PRESENT WHATEVER YOU THINK OTHER PEOPLE WOULD BE INTERESTED IN...

Crossfire #1

Here is my Roadster Limited for your viewing pleasure. All of my mods are listed in my signature. Future upgrades will be Eibach Pro Lowering Kit, Brembo Drilled & Slotted Rotors, Chrome Roll Bars, Real Carbon Fiber Dash Kit, CTD-Germany Lower Grille, CTD-Germany Rear Diffusers, Startech Front Fascia, 8,000K HID Light Kit. I plan to keep my Roadster Limited for a very...very long time, if business is really good this year I plan to invest in performance upgrades from Brabus/Startech, Renntech or Vath.

Crossfire #2

I'll start off by saying that I love my Crossfire! That being said I'll tell you a little about it... I've had my Crossfire for about two years now and have enjoyed every mile i've been in it, just rolled over 9k when I took her out of storage. And with the word of more snow on the way she's just hanging out in the garage until the salt clears, I can hardly wait to take it around some of the local Mt. roads. She is Grapite with Red interior and AutoStick, I find her to be one of the best cars tht I've ever owned in regards to being the coolest and funist thing to drive.

The Mods so far include:

SRT Front Fascia
Custom Mounted Front Plate
Painted Front Parking Lights
Custom Painted Engine/Filter Cover
Custom Painted Grille (SRT SIX)
Chrome Turn Signal Bulbs
Xenesis HID Look a Like Bulbs for High and Low Beams
Xenesis Xeon Rear license Plate lights
Mopar Rear Diffuser
35% Window Tint All Around
Pioneer AVIC Navigation Head Unit with Aux. Audio Jack
Sprint Booster
K&N Filters
Rear Cargo Mat
Rotex Gold Brake Pads

Future Mods Include:

Koni's Lowering Springs
Dark Gray Suede Headliner
Color Matched Red Suede seat inserts
Under Drive Pulley's
ECU Retune
Headers
Cams

Here's the car as she looks now...

Her name is Crissy and there are more pictures in my gallery (the gallery wont let me post any more pics to this thread).

Thanks for looking, and if you voted for me Thanks for Your Vote!

CROSSFIRE #3

Hello to my extended Family,

First of i would like to say that this my first type of sports car and i must say that i LOVE the Original look, Fast feel, great ride and Head turning that the Crossfire gets. When i was shopping for a new (second) car this was actually not my first choice...but after test driving it and realizing that i didn't need another four door or more than two person type vehicle the Crossfire shot to the top of my list. I have owned it for about a year and a half now and EVEN to this day ...every day that i get in it and start driving i still feel the "true bliss" of the Crossfire~! I am the type of person who doesn't like to stay stock...so actually even before i actually purchased it i was already rim shopping and thinking of what i would do to car as a total theme. At first i was going to just color match the center of the wheels...but i realized after some thought that even though it would look nice...but "nice" was Not good enough for me...and that's when my bodyman/friend recommended to go this route (color match lip). We decided to go with a black center (new trend even if car isn't black) and add black accents all over the car so the whole car and theme of it would flow together seamlessly.

I do enter my car into some of the respectable carshows in my area...and i have actually won a first place trophy/plaque recently. I also realize that probably most of the owners here from this forum probably would not go the route i did with my crossfire either cause the crossfire stock ALREADY looks great to the eye or that spending the extra money to get the "limited" features and then go paint or modify them might seem like a waist of money...but as they say "to each his own". All that matters is that YOU are happy with whatever mods you might do even if none at all...and if others like it or compliment the work you did then of course that is a Big PLUS!!!

I hope you enjoy my little story and hope that i will be lucky enough to gain your vote.
THANKS TO THE GREATEST FORUM ON THE NET!

(..and just in case you are wondering...the sticker on my driver side window is the same as the last phrase on my signature).

These cars are still sweet, but is there any reason why the March Ride of the Month is still stickied?
