When I lock the doors no chirp. If I jack the car up and lower it the alarm goes off and it chirps...If I hit the panic button it chirps... Not quite sure what your asking are you looking for a chirp when you hit the lock button??

Your alarm can be set to chirp by your tech, if memory serves it has to be set on one the European settings...I thinks its the Netherlands setting. Do a search there is a thread on this.
