OK, you guys talked me out of painting my wing, but now i think i need to get a big Boy-Racer wing. I bet those would look Badass of my Xfire. Think i'm gonna have to get one. Then i'm gonna install some neon strobes on it with a disco ball.

Wait a minute!
That's me in the blue Saturn! I had hoped no one would find out.
Oh well, since the word is out, you would not believe how much more power that thing has now with the GIANT muffler. It probably adds at least 25 horses to the wheels.

And the wing - well that adds at least 5 HP.

Don't even get me started on the custom crooked license plate. I think someone told me those were good for at least 7 HP.

That just provided 30 minutes of gut-busting entertainment. I'll have to wipe the tears from my eyes now because of the laughter...I love ricers!

I think a lot of the cars on that site weren't too bad, they were laughing just cause someone put a exhaust on a civic.

LOL
I know you're kidding, but please no wing... It looks stupid on the car even though it has increased my lap times substantially. Every day I go out to the garage I look at my poor little Crossfire racer and cry when I see that wing on it... Then I have to remind myself, it's a racecar now

Andrew, I liked your pictures. I'm sure we'll see a hundred of those at the track this weekend.

Look through this thread there are photos taken right after I installed the wing, but had not finished the body work & paint.

Trust me, I would be embarrassed if this was a street car...

I told you it was stupid looking... But I am knocking an average of 10 seconds off my track times from last season and the car sticks like super glue taking long sweeping turns at 125 mph, when last year the rearend would start to float and the TC would cut-in and cut my speeds, or I would have to lift off the throttle to stay on the track.

Would I ever put this on a street car ? HELL NO ! I would feel like a DORK driving that around... Trust me Andrew this broke my heart when I installed it... But then again, 6th place last season hurt real bad as well !!!

We're starting the 2007 season this weekend and have 10 this year, not including the nationals at mid-ohio raceway, I want the first podium for a Crossfire in sanctioned road racing, so I'm willing to live with a BUTT ugly rear wing...

Yes, it was outside in front of a friend's place who always helps me when I need four hands to finish a project... This car lives in my garage until racing weekends, it doesn't even have windows in the doors anymore, for that matter, the doors and interior are gutted to bare metal skins.

Which reminds me, I gotta get the interior painted soon, it's a freakin' mess.

I'm going to make sure to take some photos at the track this weekend so you can see it... The interior is an empty shell with a roll cage and a Sparco racing seat, that's pretty much it... Trust me, this Crossfire is not a pretty sight, until you see it on the track !
