Neon Light Wiring

Those are the neons I have, except for both of mine connect to the same music sensor. I cut off the cigarette lighter adapter and separated the wires and tried to attach them around a fuse (found under the hood) for the cigarette lighter... but they wouldn't turn on. Any ideas? I also touched the wires to the ends of the car batter and they wouldn't turn on...

If you hooked them up directly to the battery and they won't turn on they are no good.
Unless there is more to the wiring on them.
Can you provide more info on the music sensor circuit?
Did they work plugged into the lighter?

If it is you will need to get creative.
If it is not you are not doing something right
On a lighter socket the center nipple is + and the outer is ground.
Hope this helps.
A local shop can find an appropriate + hot wire for you.
Wrapping around a fuse is not a good move on electronic controlled cars.
I am not talking down to you I just don't know your experience level.
Let us know how it goes.
