Default Cool new accessory

I don't know if you have seen this or not, but its kind of neat.

It's a light-up shifter **** thingy that tells you what gear you're in.

A write up on it is here: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/the-****/...ppy-256042.php

That's kinda cool. It is neat how new technologies can make old ideas new again.

That reminded me of my old 1974 Suzuki GT 380, 3 cyl, 2 cycle street bike. It had a digital read out for its 6 speed, right between the tach and the speedometer.
I don't know if I'd get for the Crossfire, but I think it's a cool idea anyway.

cool gadget... but in reality, you probably shouldn't be looking at your shift **** to find out what gear your in. lol.

the silly thing is that the xf already has the gear readout display, but only for automatics. I wish I could figure out how to make it work for the 6 speed.

I've actually been toying with the idea of trying to find out how to drive that display. It would be kind of neat to be able to make it do something. A gear counter would be very cool...
