Confused...
I looked up on various websites that were legit and they said that the Chrysler crossfire (not srt 6) runs a faster 1/4 mile AND a faster 0-60 time then a MINI COOPER S. If that's the case i'm even more motivated to sell my mini and by one of these xfires...

Well when I was looking to get a car I test drove a cooper s and my crossfire on the same day. The cooper s is a lot slower than my crossfire. I actually drove the S after my crossfire and I laughed and said "this thing is supercharged?".

hmmm... curious...
I have had a lot of cars in my day few of them with forced induction my fastest 1/4 mile time being a 10.2 with a trap speed of 145 mph, so I consider both these cars to be very slow. I had a grand prix GTP it has the Eaton m90 on it and I was impressed with it stock but I had to do a lot to make it reasonably quick, but the Cooper S just seemed to be entirely to slow. They could have made it naturally aspirated with the horsepower numbers they were looking for a lot cheaper. I think they supercharged it so they could sell a car that is overpriced and underpowered just like the Cobalt SS 205 hp, Saturn Ion Redline (same as Cobalt SS) and Mazda Speed Protege (Turbo) 170 hp.
