California fuel sucks!
Well I've been watching the gas gauge lately, and what with premium costing about $4/gal here in LA.
I immediately saw the oil companies switch to summer blended fuel two weeks ago, when I checked out my mpg, I was averaging 23 mpg last month, now I'm squeaking out 18 mpg, WTF!!!
Anybody else watch you mpg and see similar results here in California? I know Arizona has some high quality fuels compared to us. It really sucks having to pay almost $4, but it really hurts when you have to pay more and get less...

As for the 100LL, I have access to my local airport, but will check prices tomorrow, I love the fact that there is no road tax on the stuff, hopefully its on par with local stations.

Does anyone know the max. octane you could run in the Crossfire without harming anything? I can get 101 octane racing fuel. Would you have to mix it with lower octane? Would power or mileage be better on the high octane?
Just curious.
Just curious.
In the U.S. at lower elevations any gasoline with an octane rating (R+M)/2 higher than 92 is quite harmful... to your wallet. There isn't going to be any benefit running higher octane fuels. The biggest difference you will notice is that you will be paying a lot more for the fuel.

I don't like California you guys have substances that are only "know cause cancer in the state of California".
That would be one more reason to move away.
lol.
Sorry couldn't resist.

well, i filled up for the 2nd time since buying my car and i averaged 26.7 mpg from that last tank. i'm pretty happy about that since i've been stuck in traffic alot and i have a heavy foot at times. i bet with more open roads 30 is possible.
