Surprise! Thought I would stop by...
Big hello to everybody. For those who don't know or remember me I owned a red '04 coupe and traded it for a red '06 Corvette back around Christmas. I enjoyed the XF immensely but I've been a Corvette guy forever. If I could have kept both I would have.
I drive the Vette about as much as I did the XF. I like the HP in the Vette over the XF and some of the gadgets are cool but I can tell you first hand the ride in of the XF is more refined. I get about the same gas mileage around 30 mpg but in the city the mileage drops in the Vette considerably.
Medical update. I have been clear of cancer, NHL, for one year now. I just had my last checkup and all is good. I had a stem cell transplant and its been one hell of a battle! I did something I haven't done in three years... DRANK A BEER ummm it was good.
I hope all of you are doing well and if you see a red C6 Corvette with Georgia plates... wave for goodness sake!

Wayne,
If you never give up and never give in - you will never lose.
Enjoy your ride - but most all - enjoy life!!
I wanted to post picture of a car my best friend in the world who passed away last year designed and built. I had the good fortune of working for him back in 1977 and we remained great friends for 29 years. The car was called the Diamante.
Enjoy MAN!!

I drive it almost daily. Sometimes I'll drive the truck if I know I have to get or transport something that won't fit into the Crossfire. 5,000 miles in about 2 months. The fun in having the car is in driving it. And I drive it hard all of the time. As soon as we hit 70k miles I'll dump it and get something else. I don't see the point in babying the car.
