Saleswoman Hit My Truck
Saleswoman Hit My Truck
I've introduced myself in the racing section but I wanted to say hello to all. First off, I picked up my '05 alabaster last week and love it. The car evokes strong reactions and I love both the styling and performance. I've been reading this forum for a few months and really appreciate all of the good info.
Now my car-buying story.
I was at a local dealer looking at a '04 black manual. I hadn't had the opportunity to drive a manual Crossfire so I asked the saleswoman if I could drive it. My truck (a big Dodge Ram) was parked about 6 feet away from the Crossfire when the salesperson, trying to find reverse and move it, lurched toward my truck. I put my hands up as she stopped the car, she messed with the shifter again and proceeded to jump forward again, into the bull bar of my truck. The impact pushed the bar sideways about 2 inches and put a fairly good scratch in the Crossfire's bumper.
Well, after getting the manager involved, I ended up getting the truck fixed and detailed and a years' unlimited oil changes.
A funny thing, the saleswoman after all the drama, had the gall to ask me if I wanted to buy the car. I told her that usually after a sales person hits me, I'm no longer in much of a buying mood!
