Can someone send me a pick of where the cup holder is i can not find mine. I don't know if it has been removed or just hidden really good. Also how do i know what my production # is. I have a 2005 coupe 6 speed with 17,000 miles on it.

Your production number is in the last 6 digits of your VIN #

As for your cup holder it should be just back from your shifter about where your arm will rest. Push it down and then release.

If you have a Base coupe, you don't have a cup holder, you have a storage bin where it would be, just behind the shifter. Hope this helps.

This is the best idea ever! They should all be replaced for storage bins. There is nothing worse then poppin through the gears and having that that annoying thing pop up on me.

lol!!

I personally think the cup holder is what will make these cars collectable. No one else has one like them !!! NOT!

I'm one of the minority that actually likes and uses it. Once you acquiesce to the Teutonic design - "It is goot and you vill use it!"

My only complaint is that when one friend gets in the passenger seat instantly the cup holder pops up. He can just look at it wrong and it will pop up. Amazing! Never happens with anyone else.

Maybe the car knows that the fellow NEEDS a drink.

I've been trying to find the perfect thing to go into that slot, I've always seen it as not a cup holder but something with the potential to be a not-so-secret compartment.

Dear Friends, as I have said before, there is no cup holder. It's a Blackberry holder and it works just fine.

Even as a Blackberry holder it sucks...As far as I'm concerned they might as well have put the stickshift on the other side of a concrete wall!

Nothing more enjoyable than trying to grab fourth gear and fighting with a pop-up "blackberry" holder at 110!

BTW...20 minutes before I wrote this I grabbed my BB off the passenger seat because that wonderful holder decided to deposit it there after a hard left turn!

I actually like the cup holder now that I'm used to it. We seem to have come to an understanding...

Holds my Redbull and Amp energy drinks just fine (I don't drink Coffee).

In Michigan...you don't have to make ANY turns for things to be thrown around the car!

I just LOVE our roads here!
