Default HID Lights

I have a 2004. Just broke the driver side fog lamp lense. Only had it a week and less than 1k on it since I bought it. GRRR.

The cheapest replacement I found online is $77 plus shipping.

Ok, I'll admit I'm a newb. So, what about HID's? Which ones? Do they last longer? Easier to replace the lense if it cracks/breaks? And, how easy to install?

Thanks.

Sparks, use the search button located above. This has been discussed many, many, many times in the past. There's a wealth of information on this forum but you have to be willing to do a little digging to get it.

I guess I'll have to look at other resources, since I'm not familiar at all with HID's (sorry for any assumption there). I spent a couple of hours and already checked the information in the available threads and couldn't find the specifics I was looking for to allow me to find the part numbers and the ease for installation since I'm pressed for time and don't have any extra to do any special modifications or customization.

Thanks anyway.

Just go to the lighting section of the XFire forum. There are a couple HID threads already. I was looking too.
