Central Texas Crossfires (CTC) GTG
The first Central Texas Crossfires (CTC) GTG in Schertz, Tx. went well. There were seven Crossfires, God I love a convoy. The cars were great, one SRT6 Coupe, two Roadsters and four Limited Coupes. The owners were nice also. I enjoyed meeting them. I could imagine the
of non-Crossfire owners as we went by. After Lunch the Charter Members met to discuss a locale Crossfire Club, hence the CTC. We decided to meet the 2nd Sunday of each month at 2:00 p.m. for making plans to further develop CTC and have great GTG's.

Great to meet you Bill and the rest of you. Thanks for the invite Roger, and we are looking forward to doing it again.
PS: I may be going to look at an SRT-6 today.

Shawn,
The CTC logo looks good. Do you think it could use some more color? Can you fit in an outline of the coupe and roadster? A suggestion, the outline of Texas with the CTC and outline of the coupe and roadster in it. A few variations would be nice so that the CTC Charter Members can vote on it as they did the name. Thanks for taking the lead on this. Please place in the South Forum.

Bill,
Of course I can add variations. The way I made the image was with layers, so basically each word, image, etc..is on a separate layer and can be removed or manipulated without messing with the rest of it.
I was thinking about adding the crossfire outline as well, but spent most of my time making a crossfire font and ran out of time (I gave it up around 2 am).
Send in some constructive criticism and I'll do a few different designs.

Shawn It looks great... The only suggestions I would have would maybe for it to be a little taller. That might allow you room to get a outline of the coupe and roadster on it, possibly one on each side of the Texas outline. As far as color goes maybe on the CTC on the bottom, Thanks for your time and effort in designing this I definitely think you are on to something. Good luck on the hunt for the SRT6.

Here it is in its standard height, with some color added...
I was trying to keep it fairly simple, mainly for vinyl/decal/shirt reasons. It's much easier if you don't have to do full color (and much less expensive).
I will toy with adding the crossfire outline later on.

Shawn,
Great work. I like the looks of the original the most. The only thing I might do is reduce the size of the "T" and the "S" in Texas. They appear to be larger than the other letters. Keeping it black and white is not only easier, but looks better in my opinion.

I will show you how it looks that way.
