Bought a Crossfire today!
Hello,
After a couple of weeks of looking we finally found a Crossfire that we liked and could afford. We traded our Mercedes in on a 2004 Silver/Blue Coupe with an automatic Trans and the two tone leather interior. I know some Mercedes owners might not consider such a trade, but in the Crossfire I have never seen such a good deal on a Mercedes. the car we bought seemed to have been really pampered and well taken care of. It looks absolutely brand new.

I do all my own work on my cars and have been building cars from the ground up as a hobby for many years. I am already starting to look at this car and looking for ways to personalize it. I would like to change the wheels and do something with the grille (I saw the grille coming at me today on the front of a Chrysler mini van). Unless there are some decent choices I will probably paint it body color with chrome edges.
Exhaust could be a tad louder too. Maybe a Flowmaster with the stock exhaust tips? The craziest thing I have thought of is an engine swap to MB V8. Looks like it wouldn't be all that hard.

Re: Bought a Crossfire today!
My name has been changed by the admin. Was LantanaML320 which was my name on the Benzworld forum.
I am about to make the first mod which is the Crossfire emblems. My wife lived in Detroit for a while and learned to really really hate Chryslers. Two weeks ago I dragged her kicking and screaming to the local Chyrsler dealer to test drive one. She quickly admitted that it didn't seem at all like a Chrysler and more like a Mercedes. It took two weeks to find the right one but she still doesn't like the Chrysler name on it. The emblems from Andrew should fix this!
