Aside from the fenders and double front grill, I really like it. It would have been better in a more sophisticated color...

I'd like to find a picture of under the hood - I want to see the twin turbos. Actually, I want to see it run with those twin turbos...

Edit: Crikey! That thing looks like its for real. Looks like it has an NO2 system as well. Check out these pics.

Somebody get that car on a Dyno!

I don't cut up my car, I'm happy with it as it is...that car doesn't even look like a Crossfire anymore and that's the problem. I'd love to see what Chip Foose could do with a Crossfire but I'm sorry that thing is just plain ugly. Great stereo system though and isn't that what it was built for anyway? I'd have a hard time getting my groceries in the back with all that audio stuff back there.

With the looks of it, I think they swap the engine with a different one to accommodate the twin turbo!

Nope, its the stock N/A engine. It looks like the pulled & powder coated a bunch of stuff though.

I can appreciate a nicely done project, whether I prefer the looks or not.

There were a lot of skills and hours poured into that car.

I'm not a fan of the dually rear end, and they went a little too wide on the flares IMHO- looks too much like a 350Z.

The grill looks like the new VW jetta/golf with the performance upgrade on them (what do they call them again? I forget...)

Way back at the beginning of this post someone asked for opinions. That's what we are expressing here. I didn't know you had to like something. Quite frankly I don't respect the design of this car, execution maybe but the car is ugly to me. But to each his own, If you like it I sure don't think any less of you, its just my personal taste or lack of it.

I am pretty much a purists, all of my cars are factory, including add on (factory options) but I have to admit that looks pretty cool.

No it wasn't a flip up tv. IF your referring to a sun visor monitor no it wasn't one of those either. It a monitor integrated into the original rear view mirror. Second explain to me how one of the only all out race car drivers on here HDDP would be running a dual HOT AIR INTAKE if it was hurting his performance at all. https://www.crossfireforum.org/galle...page/2/si/HDDP

How hard is it to hack up a beautiful car throw on some fender flairs bondo them in Great work not my taste there is no doubt someone spent a lot of time doing all of it no one is doubting that The engine is nice as well. just not my taste at all. My original post was I’m tired of the fast and furious crap with this car, now that any kid can pick one up for $15,000. On the other hand Its probably a lot harder to buy some twenties with no offset slap them on my car, paint up my calipers, and run a chicken wire grille that I built with supplies from Home Depot, Then top it off with two fake suede racing seats, and not run a five point harnesses cause the stock seat belts works just fine in that application. I'M done.

It's not just our cars because kids can afford them now. It happens to G35s, BMWs, Mercedes, Lexus, Vettes, etc. etc.

ok lets start with the fact that your intake picks up air from right behind the radiator which when the car is moving or fan is running hot air is being blown directly into your filters... ie hot air intake, next as far as my "fake suede seats" like i said they are micro suede which is made with cotton and polyester fibers which make these seats cleanable, being as it is a car and add to the fact i drive it alot thats a pretty positive thing for me, next the 4 point harness, can't use em on the road in maryland or you will get a ticket for having no seat belt on and more than likely they will not let you drive it away being as to the state troopers you dont have any seat belts. next what was it ahhh yes my wheels with no offset... wtf are you talking about the offset is exactly matched to stock so before you say something about that why dont cha look at the damn pics, next my home depot grille... was i trying to hide the fact that i made it with mesh from home depot ... ummm no, as a matter of fact i have that posted on one of my pics where i was asked where i got it, it is in there while i with the help of my good friend who is incredible with fiberglass try to make a grille shell but we needed the factory grille but get a base line mold going, which i do believe i have stated, yes yes i have, now am i one of these punk kids that can now afford these cars??? i bought my '06 almost a year ago before they dropped there prices so low which is the only reason i still have it cause i owed too much on it still so instead of forking over money for some one to take it i started putting it into it for fun, i've been working on the car in this sense for 2 months now soooo in my obviously meager opinion i do believe that i've done a fair amount of work to this car i enjoy my car i cut my car up i hack into wiring harnesses and look my car still runs!!! so if the fact that i'm 24 and was actually 23 when i purchased the car upsets you i'm ever so sorry that the fact that someone young is obviously doing things with there life and is to the point where they can afford the same things as you. my suggestion... grow a pair oh and i'm sorry if this whole reply hurt your suzy angel boy.

because he doesn't always know what he's doing to the car half the time, but I don't say that in a mean disrespectful way, it's just how he operates.

Irwin the devil I just looked over your gallery and I like your car 1,000 times better than that yellow thing...it still looks like a Crossfire.
Just thought I'd throw that in.

I’m 21 bought mine when i was 19 at $28,000 now have an SRT6 no thanks to anyone had the money myself and pay for it by myself. Age isn’t a factor when it comes to what looks good and what doesn’t. Your car doesn’t look bad at all you wanted to get into it about me making a post venting on how I’m tired of every kid trying to make there car look like something it isn’t. These kids slap everything possible on there vehicles and suddenly want to be STREET racers. The “fast and the furious look." Its old... Some kids get it others don’t. I don’t want to be labeled with this crew for making adjustments to my car that I think are making it look better, and people coming up to me saying it screams RICER. That joke of a crossfire yellow project goes right along with all the bull. You were the one who got into it with me contributing nothing to this site and ******* on my intake and rearview camera. I was in the wrong for coming back and taking it out on what you did to your car I apologize.

As for HDDP he has knowledge way past half the people on here about this car. I look up to and look forward to everything woody and HDDP have to say.
