Default NO crossfire deserves this

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2646472

I don’t even know what to think anymore I thought I had seen it all with the lambo doors, 20s all around, and Japanese tuner sponsorship sticks pasted all over the fenders. I’m tired of this fast and the furious crap with what was once an expensive luxury sports car built in Germany. If you wanted a car that you could slap a body kit on an intake and an exaggerated rear wing you bought the wrong car. I have no disrespect for the people who are making real horsepower out of four cylinder engines. I have a buddy with a supercharged crx who could have given my limited crossfire a run for its money and maybe even my srt 6 he is running low 14s. I’m just tired of all the extra crap that is going with this car now that they can be bought for 15 to 20 thousand. There I am done venting.

I like it and expensive....not anymore! At least it doesn't look cheap except for the letterings in the rear hatch window!

I've been thinking about doing a two tone in my Aero Blue XFIREX from the roof down to the license plate area. It will follow the triangle from the hatch to the license plate and CF the wing with black from SRT SIX to highlight the boattail styling.

Thumbs up Re: NO crossfire deserves this

Its a little too much stereo for my taste, but overall its a nicely done car. Very professional looking installation. I especially like the custom speaker mounts up front.

I don't know about the grille treatment, but other than that, it's not bad. If the exterior is going to be yellow, though, he really needs to drop the Cedar interior.

It's FANTASTIC! Not completely my choice of colors but well done. It's all about STYLE. Imagine the possibilities...

I find it amazing. All that labor and money and end up with much less attractive car. Perhaps a true artist will some day improve on perfection...Not this time.

This guy spent some serious cash modding the car. Not something I would do, but nice job other than the grill.

It actually doesn't look as bad as some of the others I've seen...not my taste though.

The double grill is odd, but i love the rims and wide body kit. The color is out there, i like it, ha. Sound system looks really good, nice set up. It definitely turns heads, and I think they accomplished what they set out to do. All in All, pretty sweet.

Front end - completely ruined a beautiful front end, ugly.
Sides - that door now looks like it came from an old Mustang.
The rear - just plain fugly.
Then we get inside. I'm guessing the colors are off a bit in the picture. But again it doesn't work for me. About the only thing I do like is the color.
Sorry guys maybe next time they should spend 4 weeks on the build.
Just my humble opinion.

Pat

I like to see that the xfire was chosen for their project, but I did not like how it turned out.

ok what's wrong with stereo systems and 20's. i guess you would be happy to know my first intention was to put 22's in the rear but it proved near impossible without extensive surgery... be happy that someone out there took one of our cars and put it in a serious class of its own how many wide body crossfires have you seen? for me to this date 1 that to me is awesome and go look at some euro tuner mags before you go on a german sports car tyrant euros have always been about the wide body! from vws to audis to porsches to bimmers to mb's that is a euro style. it seems like there are way too many people here ready to put down what others do to these cars or try to do to them, so i challenge you to go and cut your car up and lets see what you come up with. oh yeah you like o.e. its so perfect as it is, if everyone thought that there wouldn't be any modding seen at all. hell we would all be driving model t's still so before you post about how stupid ugly or dumb what anyone else does why don't you recognize that its original first and foremost or just stick to the tsb page. now i'm done.

Johnny, I'm with you. It's an abomination. Ugly in & out, IMO.

I will have you know that on my limited I had twenties in the rear and nineteen’s in the front, Second I installed the eibach performance suspension, SRT6 front bumper, Sprint booster, LEDs every light including interior, Rear painted accent fascias, Custom painted engine cover, Debadged, Had a custom magnaflow exhaust made, FABRICATED my own illuminated door sills, HIDs in both fog and low beams, Chrome all around where ever there was grey, Black out windows, Video camera rearview mirror,IM THE ONLY ONE I HAVE SEEN ON THIS SITE TO COME UP WITH A SINGLE AND DUAL INTAKE THROUGH THE USE OF BENT 3" TUBING. No one else has taken the time to FIGURE OUT ALL OF THE ANGLES for both the left and right side intakes. Also the only intake that doesn’t use the stock tubing or go through the air box and has a insert for a MAP sensor. besides of coarse STRYFOX... There was no interest so I stopped making them everyone wants to go through the stock air box for a cleaner look but with no gain. Come back when you have done your research I would be more then happy to talk things out. My gallery pictures are old but the dealership that I traded it in at for an srt6 should have most recent photos up any day now.
