Angry Headlight Help!

As I had posted not long ago, I was having headlights burn out. I do recall when I first got my car, driving on a dark road; the beams were wide and bright. Now after having the last bulb changed, I drove the car last night in the dark, and I had to lean forward, to see if they were even on! When they changed one before I noticed they were not as bright. Are they using the wrong bulbs?

What the heck do I tell the dealer when I take it back? What are they doing wrong? Please help, I can’t drive at night, till it gets fixed.

Thanks!

It sounds like they are not seated correctly. With the 'big bucks' you are paying them to change a bulb, take it back and ask them to install it properly.

If that's what your thinking, there not seated correctly, what would I tell them? Is there a trick to installing them a correct way that I can tell them? Since they must not know anything...

Thanks!

Replace them with real HID bulbs and notice a bigger difference.

I can only tell you that after replacing mine, it took 2 or 3 times to finally figure out when it was seated correctly. After that, the rest of them were much easier to install. If it is only illuminating a short distance in front of the car then the bulb isn't installed correctly. Good luck.
