Scroll to the top of the page...click on "quick links" then click on "today's posts" from the menu...what do you see? Hmmm...

It's not a matter of winning...I'm just pointing out a simple fact...believe it or not.

but you shouldn't have to click anywhere, and if you do you will still end up here. i'm competitive, but we are now just wasting posts in this thread.

If someone's going to try to "correct" me when I'm not incorrect...they can expect to hear about it!

Everybody here is right. The guy is an idiot! I've owned a 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS (that's where my screenname comes from), a 2002 Corvette Convertibel, A 2003 Corvette Convertible, and alot of other vehicles. I've owned my 2004 Crossfire Limited for about a month and I've had more WOMEN compliment me on it than I ever did with the other cars combined! I've had about as many men compliment me on the Crossfire as I did on the others. Most manufacturers build vehicles with men AND women in mind. When all is said and done, any car is a machine, an inanimate object WITH NO GENDER. The guy is just jealous, trying to put you down because your Crossfire is cooler than his dime-a-dozen Z. Enjoy your car & rest assured that ladies will love having you drive them around in it!!

I have gotten the whole "its a chick car....blah blah". Then I tell them what it runs and the history behind it and usually their jaws drop its such a good feeling! I do think, in certain colors and trims, I could see some people calling it a "girly" mobile. I don't think it is personally though. I also see a lot of older men driving them. Im pretty young(30) And I also have had people tell me its an old mans car. I couldn't argue with them. Haha

Well, you can make any car a girly car by color and decoration. But that same VW in a silver, black, or other colors with nice wheels and performance mod would not be a girly car. You can take a Hummer and make it look girly.

Looks like a revived thread. I know we all get great comments about our Crossfires. I've never had a bad one. However, quite often I here the words cute car, from the ladies. That's not my favorite compliment, but it's better than ugly car. The cute thing makes my ears burn just a little.

I've read somewhere here on the forum that someone thought the Crossfire looked like a dog taking a dump. Now tell me, what girl/woman would purchase a car that looked like that??

A. Never take any advice on anything from anybody who uses the word "girly"

B. If by "girly" he means there are always girls sitting in the passenger seat, then yes, the Xfire is a girly car.

LOL

I think people make the "girly" comment in reference to just about any car! I previously had a 350Z (black, 6-speed, Touring) and people said it was a girly car (my female neighbor had an idential one, except hers had chrome wheels). I was told my G35 Coupe was girly because it was an auto, not a 6-speed. I was told that despite my Acura TL being a 6-speed, it was still girly. I've heard the comment a thousand times. But, I think I got the most "girly" comments about my BMW 323Ci - everyone said it was "gold" and that made it look girly; but, it was actually a pale yellow. The point is: WHO CARES!?!

At least I haven't seen a Mary Kay version of the XF yet (and hopefully will never).

no problem with burnouts here! No girly comments either. I guess that whale tail helps a bit.

P.S. the comment about a dog takin' a poo was by Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear. He hates America and our cars!

And this guy calls it "masculine" & "macho" in his review:

Go figure.

By "girly" he must mean that it attracts girls; works for me.

Everyone has their own opinion. My boss who has a 350z has said my black srt6 looks girly. I said lets race. Personally i think from the doors back it looks like a porche(low window line, cuved hatch, wide 1/4 panels, wing) and the front is a Mercedes all the way. If thats girly im fine with that. Especially when i destroy all these so called muscle cars on the highway.

Moral of story. Black srt6's > all other cars.
