Default Any way to have the horn honk when the doors lock?

Just bought a used '05 crossfire. And when I push the lock button, the horn doesn't honk. Is there a way to turn that on? I couldn't find it in the manual...

No this is not a feature on the Crossfire.
The parking lights blink 3 times when remote locks the
doors and they blink once when you unlock with the remote.

Actually...I'm not positive...but I thought there was a way to get the horn to give a friendly toot when the locks were set.

Have you tried searching the forum or not?

yes there is a website that sell a little box that plugs into the mercedes slk320, but at 150-200 Euro it's not worth a beep...

I don't know why people want the horn to sound when they lock their cars. To each there own, I guess. I find it to be a pretty annoying feature...being in a parking lot listening to a bunch of horns going off...like there's not enough noise in our world today. My Pacifica has the option via the menu to change to the horn going off or not and I've chosen NO HORN. Now if I could just get my Sebring to stop honking everytime I lock the doors. I'm glad my XF does not sound the horn. Does it really matter? Push the lock button and it's locked. Do we really need confirmation? I certainly don't mind looking back to see if the lights flash; I like the view. (Sorry if I sound testy - I'm still recovering from the site being down for a few days).

The Sebring, PT Cruiser and Jeep Liberty I had as rentals all honked their horns when locked - and it was especially loud in an enclosed parking area like my carport. I'll take the flashing lights any day and just listen for the doors to lock.
