Sunday drive
What's better than a Sunday drive? A Sunday drive with 2 other Crossfires
or at least another Crossfire and a New AMX.
We met up with Fritzauf and +fireamx and their wives at the Woolybear festival, had a good supper and then drove around the shores of Lake Erie checking out some beautiful lakefront homes. We had a great time and just wanted to share a couple pictures
Thanks for sharing, a lovely day for a XF run!
I hardly ever see an XF on these Beautiful Mountains roads, but that should change on 11/10 & 11!
(& my camera's will be raring to go).

What an absolutely beautiful day it was for a group of Crossfire owners to get together. I can't think of anything that could have made the day any better. Perfect weather, lovely location, good food, beautiful cars, and great people, who could ask for anything more?
One of the best things about owning this car, is meeting the great people who own them. I mean I really love the car, and I'm starting to think that it truly is the nicest vehicle I have ever owned. But the joy I receive from driving it pales in comparison to the fun I've had getting together with its owners.
There are at least 20 "Ohio" Crossfire owners on the forum, and I just wish we could try and get together. After all, OHIO isn't that big! And what's a couple of hours traveling in a Crossfire, but time well spent.
Maybe next year we can get a large group of Crossfires to show up for the Wooley Bear festival, and they'll let us in the parade. (much to the dismay of the Corvette owners I'm sure).

My Sunday drive consisted of a 100 miles on I 68 and I 70 through WV and MD with a Ferrari Testarossa, 69 Mustang, and myself (xf coupe)... it was a lot fun. Just an impromptu, lets drive fast together ride... again lots of fun.

There were only about 7 or 8 cars, and most weren't what you would call '"parade worthy''.
Actually, there were alot of cars in the parade that could have used some "cosmetic surgery". They must have been short on vehicles too, because we noticed that they were recycling a few of the cars as the same rides showed up a couple of times transporting different celebrities.
A bevy of Crossfires showing up at next years event, would probably breath new life into the old parade, because everybody enjoys seeing a good lookin set of wheels.
Maybe you can come up next year and help improve the Corvette inventory. After all, everybody knows those Vettes from "Southern Ohio"
are in much better shape than the North Coast versions.
Thanks for sharing the pic's, it sounds like yall had fun. I have been lucky enough to be on two XF runs and hope to get in on more. Making friends and bragging about our cars always makes for a good time.
