...you spend a minute every drive wondering why they didn't make the speedometer just a leeeetle bit smaller so that the top isn't cut off...or made the pod just a leeetle bit bigger.

You put your xFire in storage for the winter, all winterized and covered, and then you return repeatedly to the garage to make sure everything is OK. Normally we all do this at some point ... BUT NOT SEVERAL TIMES THE SAME DAY you put it in "storage" ... Geez ... now I know the medication is not working ......

New one to me, too. And I lived in MICHIGAN for 40 years!

I cannot imagine not driving my toy for, like 4 months at a time.
But I bet they get a BIGGER BLAST from driving theirs than we do!

Guess I'm going to have to keep up with those, and figure out a way to keep them on the car...plastic hinges, anyone?

I think that they could be held on permanently with two 1/8" POP rivets with washers inside. Drilling through the hinge and splash guard carefully. That hinge is none to strong though.
The trick to keep them as they are is to get that catch to work properly, it must snap all the way.

Oledoc2u: not the subject of this thread but, I need the door and the whole plastic inner liner that it attaches to, any recommendations as to where I might find one?

Thanks...Stephen

You wonder why they couldn't make the wiper arms disappear so they do not block you view while you are pulling into a tight spot.
