Is everyone else’s email notification not working?

I haven’t received an email from this forum for about a month now.

True. I get no PM or Spam reporting emails.

 

I do get my PM.

 

Interesting...I haven't gotten any PM either since they switched servers...What's up? I thought maybe I was just crazy. LOL!

pms are different.

 

No email alerts since the change over. Nada. Zilch. Nothing at all. PMs still get here though.

This needs to be fixed. I really like the email notifications...

 

I get my PMs but no email notifications. When I changed my email address I never got the confirmation email either so I couldn't finish the process and could not log in for several weeks! I even tried setting up a new account using a different email and still never got the confirmation email for that either. Sort of makes me wonder if any "new" members are able to log in and post either. Pity if they can't, and I'd make that my number one priority here (not that I'm telling anyone how to do their job, that's not my intent, honest)!!

 

My PMs stopped on October 5th.

Since the switch to the new server I also get
no email notification for PM's or threads or posts.

When logging in PM's are available on the site.

 

FYI to those who use email notifications to keep up with their posts -

When you log in, look to the top left of the forum. You will see a link that says 'New Posts'.

This is basically every new post since the last time you visited. You can skim through these new posts and read the ones that interest you, or the ones that you have previously viewed/posted on.

This is the quickest way for me to 'keep up' without email notifications.

I view and post on at least 7 or 8 different message boards...and email notifications are the ONLY way to keep up. It really hurts a board's activity when they are not working.

From experience owning a forum, these guys are apparently having an issue with their email server. it shouldn't be too hard to fix. However, some host's email servers do not work well with email notification on bulletin boards, so lets hope that is not the case with the new server.
