I've seen them at Costco... think the Motor Max models are better because of the original 'painted' wheels.
I'm not a big fan of chrome wheels on the Crossfire.

FYI... there was no Limited model designation in 2004. They were all fully loaded. The Limited came into
being in 2005, when the Base model was introduced....

I think the chrome wheels look ok on the model...

Hey guys. Since your looking for models. I know of another one made by the reputable TESTORS company. Tower Hobbies sells it for $13.49 online. Check it out here http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFDY2&P=W

Now that's pretty cool... I'll be getting one as well.

Here's a pic of the Maisto Model:

How is everyone doing on finding these? Any luck? It sounds like red is the only color. Aslo coupe no roadsters. I'd think painting one could be a winter project since many of us are not driving our actual cars!!
Has anyone tried to modify it into a roadster??

Hello members yesterday I was able to buy several of these diecast cars. I am not interested in making a profit off of anyone, but the time/hassle factor of wrapping/post office doesn't thrill me. You pay for the actural shipping cost, but what additional beyond the Costco price is fair??? Post here or pm me. I will return thoses that no one has an interest in.

Ann

Yes, but after finding and cutting the right texture and colour cloth top, I realized that I couldn't find a small enough electric motor and the wiring harness was a bugger to install properly. I will keep working on it.

Once I get my Roadster perfected, I will be willing to sell it for about $5,000 above the list price of the Coupe. I think that is what Chrysler charges in Canada for the Roadster.

I'm interested if there's a Roadster, but I think I know the answer to my question.

Do you know if they have any at the Pentagon City location? I'll be in DC next week on business and staying in Crystal City. Thanks.

Here ya go, if you are looking for a Roadster. The cars are made by Norev, about two years ago I purchased a Norev red Roadster on ebay for $30.00 +S/H. The model came with a removable convertible top and a display case, I painted the diecast to the match my Roadster Limited including the chrome trim from CTD-Germany.

Thanks, I've already ordered one from them, but I would like a larger scale.

Do you have one in Graphite? If so let me know what you want for it. There are no Cosco's where I live.

Thanks.

I found the Crossfire Maisto cars at Costco in Montreal and Toronto and they were all red. They're selling for $10.99, same as in the US. Alas no graphite... so I bought a red one to keep me company through the winter. Anyone trying to sell an xfire should send it here... they don't sell for less than $20k up here since a new limited coupe lists for $46k + transport & prep. With the dollar at parity it's pretty crazy pricing.

Sorry everyone all of the Costco diecast cars are red coupes. I'm going to make painting mine a winter project hopefully I'll end up with a yellow coupe!
I'm seeing these on Ebay, which tells me most Costcos had some. They are very nice except the things mentioned (wing/wheel color). I'll keep the extras until December 20 or so then return them to the store. Again I'm not looking to make money off of anyone/member.
