Hey guys. Just out of curiosity, I was wondering if anyone has actually GONE THROUGH with a turbo or supercharger upgrade for the Crossfire Limited. Try doing a search on the forums and you will see that many members have stated that they are either :

1) In the process of looking for an upgrade.

2) Have found their choice for either a turbo or supercharger, and are:
a. Working out the schematics for a DIY upgrade
b. Contacting dealers and negotiating pricing on core components.

Ultimately, I don't think anyone has actually posted "Yes, it is now done and complete... here are the results!"

I guess the point of this inquiry is to see whether there are actual Crossfire
owners out there with forced induction mods that can share their personal experiences and perhaps provide some feedback and insight to members like me who are seriously contemplating upgrades.

Kleemann, Mosselmann, Turbotechnics, STS, HPS, HoP - it doesn't matter what make... Turbo / Supercharged Crossfire Limited owners who have remained silent all this time ~ now is your time to speak out!!

 

There are many threads on this and to date no one has achieved this, either because of cost or availability. The conclusion was that since this endeavor would not be cost effective, it would just be cheaper to buy an SRT6, and many have.

 

There was a car posted in the coupe forum at one point that had twin turbos and a lot of extensive body mods. I'm not even sure if it was still a 3.2L or not.

It was built for stereo/shows...and some of it was way over the top, but the powerplant looked pretty nice!

This car raised quite a stink with people saying it was ugly, riced out, etc. Regardless, it is twin-turbocharged.
