What smoked headlights look like on a graphite Crossfire
I have looked high and low to see what smoked headlights look like on a graphite Crossfire. Unfortunately I couldn't find any pics, so I did it myself. Here's what it looks like:

I know it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I plan on keeping it for a while.

seems quite dark... did they offer it in a lighter tint?? i would be concerned about night driving visibility...
I bought both a lighter tint and a darker tint, the lighter tint looked horrible, the darker tint matches the car better IMO. I don't do much, if any night driving, but am thinking about upgrading to the more powerful Xenon HID so that night driving won't be a problem. I did pull into the garage and turn off all the lights and throw on the bulbs and I was surprised at how much light did still come out. I doubt it would be a problem.

I donno, I went to this website:
http://www.rvinyl.com/cart/store.php...on=show_detail
And chose "Smoke Dark" and "Smoke Light" but after seeing them both, I decided that "Smoke Dark" looked best with the vehicle. It's also a fairly thick film so it supposedly prevents minor scratches and chips in the headlights. Also fairly cheap. They recommend using the "dry method". I definitely wouldn't recommend that. The wet method works much better with a cap of baby shampoo and a spray bottle of water.

You would never hide them... unless you have damaged plastic lenses from a poor quality part. Either way, and I would know, I have the 38% tints (the lighter ones) and it does effect the light coming out, and I have H7 Sylvania Silverstars. Dims the light somewhat, if I could I would go with the HIDs.
I personally wouldn't tint my headlights. My eyes aren't as young as they used to be so I need all the help I can get, but if I was into that I sure would do it after seeing your pics. It looks good on a graphite car and it looks like you did a good job on the install, way to go.
