This is referred to as "Time Dilation". When you approach the speed of light, time compresses and you will experience objects outside of your car going slower.

The fix:

Drive slower!

These cars are a gas, ain't they???

WOW great answer. Is there any affect on the Crossfire clock when the moon and the sun are misaligned or when the planet is in a state of orbital misalignment with the planets ??

Great answer! It can also happen when the flux capacitor isn't properly grounded and you are going over 88 MPH.

I believe a simple di-lithium crystal alignment will cure the clock's time dilation anomaly...

This should clear up this mystery...

Unfortunately because phpBB2 uses a generic GMT+/- X hours as the time zone it was necessary to replace this with full options that list geographical and political time zones properly.

This code will be required for Calendar Pro users as it resolves a major problem for recurring event chains but it works fine for forums as well and takes the
"all the forums times are wrong" whining out of the equation.

This mod is due to go Beta later today following various tests on a vmware system.

I would still advise against using this in a production environment as there's bound to be something waiting in the wings but at present it seems to be a working mod.

Replaces existing GMT +/- X system with detailed country specific time zones.

OK, OK, OK you effing WIN!

What the hxxl do you do for a living? It's either writing software, or operation manuals for National Instruments!

Both confuse me terribly.

Or, you work black for the Pentagon.

This thread will definitely attract Maxwell. Just using the word "Pentagon" would do it!

Three Factors to Driving Backward

The first rule of thumb is not to back up for long distances. Most people rarely do, usually reserving the reverse gear for leaving the driveway or maneuvering into a parking space.

But what if you're looking for an address, only to realize you passed it eight houses ago? Don't pop it into reverse and ramble back half a block. This might be the quickest response, but for reasons of both safety and traffic law, this is not a good habit to get into. Instead, take the appropriate driving steps to make a three-point turn or drive around the block.

The second key to going in reverse is to not floor the gas pedal and go blazing backward down the driveway―or anywhere for that matter. There is a reason why there is only one gear for going backward, and a low gear at that. So use caution when pulling out and ease back slowly.

If you managed to nest between two monstrous SUVs in a grocery store parking lot and you're driving a Dodge Neon, then backing out will require even more proficiency. Considering you will essentially be backing out blind, it's best to ease out in measured increments. This way, pedestrians and other traffic will have a chance to see and avoid you (since you'll be in the middle of the road before you can see them).

The third item to keep in mind when going in reverse is your form. Yes, it's true. How you position your body matters a great deal. Don't rely on your rearview or side mirrors, though of course you need to check all of them often. But also physically turn your body and look out the back window while you are going in reverse. This way you can directly assess anything that comes into your way, and those accidents of heavy consequence can be avoided.

After repeated complaints about the clock gaining a minute per day Classic Chrysler of Madison, Ohio replaced the entire instrument cluster. It took them a week and a half because they had to synchronize the mileage on the car to the new cluster.

As I pulled out of Classic Chrysler afterwards a screw fell out of the dash. The clock keeps time but the temperature guage now reads 10º high. The instrument cluster now squeaks and rattles at the slightest bump.

My experience with Chrysler dealers has been that they either don't fix anything or do more damage than they repair.
