Unhappy leak behind glove box

I put my CF through a car wash yesterday (i know i shouldn't have!!!) after the car wash there was a large puddle in the passenger footwell.

I had a bit of a hunt around and i think the leak is coming from the area behind the glove box. It also sounds like there is still some water stuck somewhere as i can hear it sloshing around?

Anybody have any ideas on what the trouble is or have you had this problem before?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Rolfy

Never heard that before.
That's where the cabin air filter is located... it takes in air from right below the windshield wipers.

Check to see if anything is missing or remove the plastic piece surrounding the wipers.

The condensation line could be clogged. This is the line that drips water under the car when you are using the air conditioner.

You may have forced water in with the high psi and thats why your hearing it now but something is wrong. It should not be holding water. I wash mine in the 25 cent diy all the time with no trouble at all. You need to check it yourself or have it looked at. Don't just let it go, The water will get into the floor board and ruin the amp and rust the floor.

You are not alone. 2005 Black Coupe owner wrestling with identical problem. Chrysler dealer modified the area around the external cabin air intake with a deflector plate, to prevent water breach. We'll see come springtime how successful this attempt at diverting rainwater, actually is. Musty smell has GOT TO GO.

Hi! It happened the same on my old car. Was the cabin filter or "pollins filter" that was chocked. When I was cornering on the right a lot of water was coming out on passenger feet. Try to check it..
