The info to program home link is in the owners manual as well. I like not having to carry around an extra remote for the garage door.

Likewise. I followed the instructions in the owner's manual and it work perfectly first time out. Very smart too that it only works when the car is on (or at least the ignition is on).

I only had one problem the first time I tried to program the Homelink. I had the Xfire out in the driveway. Since I have a "rolling code" garage door opener, I have to perform step 10 in the owner's manual as well. Apparently during that step, the car was simply too far away to "teach" the garage door opener the signal.

However, went out again last night at 1:03 AM and tried it while the Xfire was garaged. It took about four minutes.

To sum up, the instructions in the Owner's Manual worked great for me.

Bought the Xfire on Friday December 1 for the wife. We LOVE it.

Word of caution...you need to be circumspect about saying you bought the car for the wife. Sometimes they think you really did buy it for them and want to be the primary driver... lol ...been there, done that.

Thanks for the advice. My car was too far away also and once I drove closer it worked perfectly!

Yep I love the homelink, the only thing I don't like is that I need to turn key to on position to open the garage door.
