Default extended powertrain warranty

I recently purchased a previuosly owned 2006 Limited coupe with 13,000 miles on it. Does it qualify for the 7 year/70,000 mile powertrain warranty? Is this transferable from the first owner to me?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the 7/70 warranty was not available onthe 2006 models.

I'm the 2nd owner of my 2005 LTD Coupe and I have the 7/70. It is only available for 1st and 2nd owners ($150 transfer fee).

I don't know about the 2006 or later, but I think the 2007 falls under Chryslers new Powertrain Lifetime Warranty.

I'm sure someone else will have better info on this and correct me where needed.

2006 Chrysler products did not come with a Powertrain Warranty (beyond 3yr/36K coverage). Some recently sold 2006 Chryslers qualified for the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty, but that wouldn't apply either since it is not transferable.
