Need Passenger side factory lower bumper grille.
Hi there,
I received my car yesterday from DAS Haulers minus the passenger side lower bumper grille assembly.
There was a black tar like substance close to the grille housing opening possibly indicating the grille may have worked loose and rested there before being lost in transit. (Possible prior damage?) As well I noted rust coloured scratches on the lower bumper surface indicating the bumper may have bottomed out during loading. It's possible this stressed the bumper and popped the grille loose, or maybe not?
Your comments are welcome..or maybe not
Regradless, of the particulars, I know there have been some recent wrecks
, and people who have installed custom grilles.
I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has this part and will sell it ot me. Please provide your best price. (Send me a private email )
Thank You

Wonders never cease!!! This from the one who pretty much inferred that we were all fools for believing in each other and trying to help each other out!!
Jaded, I'm sure that you will get the help that you need from someone here.........though not deservedly. If I had an extra, I would send it to you free of charge....just to see if there really is NO shame.

Sounds like you pissed-off DANIMAL
So, if you PO'd a good member of this forum, perhaps you shouldn't be a cheap-*** asking for a handout and buy the part retail here's the part number YA38 XS9AA

I'm willing to pay a member for his/her part which they are no longer using, and or help recover some of their loss on a salvage vehicle.
If you sent a part free I'd insist on paying for it anyway.
You are correct, in that there are many mature individuals in this forum who will see things for what they are, and respond accordingly.
Cheers!

I think there is actually a section in this forum for such requests so i'm surprised that you would infer that people looking for used parts are cheap, and not just smart.
I'm not certain how your logic works in attempting to corelate this part request with a forum which was asking memmbers to contribute to making someones recent car purchase payment.
Please define a good member so all the Newbies aspiring to be accepted by senior members and moderators can model themselves after him. Who knows maybe he will pay their car payments too.
Cheers!

Jaded,
Looks like you're reaping a little of what you have sewn; I just read the Help "AimeeJ" fund. Just a tad bit of advice, take it or leave it, I wouldn't go and **** off HDDP. It would kind of be like pissing in the wind, it may feel good a first but soon it will leave you wet and cold in the end.

You may find it interesting that the person who initially posted the forum, and I, have come to an understanding and have both agreed to leave the issue at the door, and have moved on.
I acknowledge that a moderator makes a regular contribution of time and enrgy to a forum, and I do respect that. I also acknowledge that this forum gives free access to a great deal of helpful information.
Being this is a public forum, I would hope that a difference of opinion is encouraged.
One has to recognise that this is an internet forum and not to take everything that is said too seriously, or allow it to manifest itself to the point of anger or revenge.
Agree to disagree and move on......
