Default Back on the site.

Hey everyone.
Don't want to start a thread here, but just got back from deployment and wanted to see what I missed. I was gone for around 7 months and know alot has happened. I'm finally back in San Diego!!! Could anyone be so kind as to fill me in quick on two or three major things? Just give me a key word and I will search.

thanks

Max

First of all let me give you a BIG WELCOME BACK !!!

The one event you might want to review is the "Tail of the Dragon" meet that took place in November: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ht=tail+dragon

Also the Woodward Dream Cruise last August:
https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ad.php?t=14297

These are the links to last years threads with stories and photos recapping the event and there are links started for this years meet under the same name. A lot has been discussed here and I just joined last July but again ....
WELCOME HOME AND WELCOME BACK TO THE FORUM.

Welcome back and thank you for your service.
There were a few heated discussions but not really much went on in the last seven months.

Ditto on teh thanks for serving our country!

Andrew's car had a fender-bender and he finally got rid of it... that's news... I don't know if that was within the last seven months or not...

Welcome back and a BIG thank you for your service. Probably the biggest news is the price of an xfire has gone down since 7 months ago.

Welcome back and a VERY BIG THANK YOU for your services.
We now have an option for a MP3 or ipod hook up to the amp and speakers, no more FM transmitter needed.

Wow, thanks everyone for all the feedback on my arrival. I really do appreciate it and we are not treated too well here in cali. I still have alot of friends deployed so can't wait till we can share a drink back here in the WONDERFUL USA.

Andrew sold his car. OH dude! Got to get another one. I just drove mine today for the first time in months and I still love it. I will def keep this car for forever, especially now that chrysler is done with the model. I used some of my extra deployment pay to buy a daily driver and conserve on the X-Fire mileage. Now it will be my new upgrade passion.

Last I was on everyone was trying to get a new mesh grill from CTD, how well did that work out? Also, has startech done anything? They were just hitting this site then?

MP3 connection! Sweet I will have to research that one definately!

So sucks I missed the Meguiars Show in LA, Damn it!

I would love to meet some guys at the cali speedway if available. I tried to go last year but the ship sent me out of town for a school. Any word on this year? HDDP?

Once again thank you guys and gals so much for the wonderful welcome. There really is a better class of people here on this forum than others I have been a member of with other cars. Thanks!!!

Max
