I'm going to pass also. I just spoke with Anthony to let him know and he mentioned that Brabus/StarTech has some other close out parts for the Crossfire. He's supposed to put together a list and send it to Eric to post here for us.

Eric, thanks for all your time and efforts with this. Darn nice of you to be the guinea pig for the rest of us!

I called a few local shops here about purchasing and installing the Eiback Pro Kit springs and got quotes from $590 to $685 for parts and install. So I called my trusted mechanic and asked if he'd install the parts if I sourced them, which he's done for me with my Miata and the PT Cruiser before that. He said he would and I didn't even ask him about pricing since both times in the past he charged me $100. This looks to be slightly more involved, but I doubt he'd want more than $150. I got the springs from TireRack.com for $249.97 shipped. Won't be installed until next week, but I'll report back then.

Again, a big thanks to all involved in the process and for the high recommendations to go with the Pro Kit.

I am going to guess steering wheel, Illuminated door sills, floor mats, locking wheel nuts, and last but not least a stabilizer kit (anti roll kit) all of which goes to the r170 body some may and may not fit. The sway bars might be a good idea but I don't think the SRT6 really needs them. I don't think anything else will work.

Hopefully I am not becoming a bother, but I need to let Anthony at Brabus know, so any measurements as of yet?
TIA.

I spoke with Anthony today and I'm gonna purchase the shocks only and he referred me to a local Brabus dealer by me that are going to install them with the Eibach pro kit for a fairly decent price, but the Brabus dealer by me may not get the springs till next week so it may be a while before I have it done by them. I will let you all know the results with pics.

Thought I'd share this with everyone. I found a Chrysler Crossfire Startech V8 6.1 for sale while looking for Crossfire parts. Only downside to the story is, the car is in Germany.

Anyway, here's the link to the Chrysler Crossfire Startech V8 6.1 for sale:

P.S. I'm not affiliated with the seller at all. Just thought I'd share this.

Updated info. I called over to the shop on Thursday morning to discuss a couple of things. I was planning to go down there and take the measurements. Unfortunately, they already had the car up on the rack with the Brabus (OEM Eibach Sportline) springs removed in anticipation of installing the Eibach ProKit springs. So I wasn't able to re-measure.

The Eibach ProKit springs arrived and have been installed. Yesterday evening I went to the shop and drove the car with them, and I liked it because it's a bit softer still than the Brabus (OEM Eibach Sportline) springs. If I had to make a seat of the pants guess, I'd say that the Eibach Sportline springs soften it up by about 2/3's what the Eibach ProKit springs do. Incidentally the guys at the shop who drove it both ways all agree that it's a bit softer with the ProKit springs. Either spring kit is a noteworthy improvement for street driving, at least if you've got bumps in your roads and want a more comfortable ride for your date, and your own rear.

When testing both times I drove it a bit aggressively around some streets and some fast curves. Obviously I couldn't go that fast, etc., but I'd say if you're into racing and driving a performance car, you might want to consider using the Sportline Springs, which aren't as loose as the ProKit Springs and might be a great compromise for some of you. The other alternative is to keep the originals for racing, and the ProKits for street, and switch them back and forth as needed.

Note that all of this testing was done with the Brabus (OEM Bilstein) shocks installed. Since the shocks and springs were done at the same time it's a bit difficult to assess each individual piece, but the damping and rebound are improved without doubt and the severity of jarring when driving over bumps, in which both springs and shock are involved, is much improved. The Bilsteins are a good change.

As for the drop, visually the drop of the ProKit Eibach's is similar to the drop of the Sportline Eibachs, though maybe just a bit less drop in front, and a bit more drop in the rear. To my eye this is going the correct direction. I'm hoping it drops a bit more in the rear, but we're planning the put a thicker spring pad in the front to lessen the front drop a bit. Also, there may be a tad of rubbing while in reverse one of the front tires.

I'll post photos and take some measurements when we're done.

Eric

Here's the parts list (.pdf) and a spreadsheet (you must rename it from a .txt to a .xls to view in MS Excel) with current pricing from Anthony. Those of you who know about spreadsheets might find this one interesting. I asked him about photos, images, etc., of the items and he referred me to the Brabus website, which really doesn't have any breakdown of the parts that I could find. I sent a note back to Anthony about that, but he hasn't responded.

Here's the link he gave for images: http://www.startech.de/homee.htm

HOLY CRAP THAT IS AWESOME!!! Look at the wheels, best looking wheels on an Xfire IMO. That price can't be right.

I want that E brake handle, the steering wheel and some other stuff off that thing. LOL

I have the price list open and am planning on doing some shopping. Please get back to us ASAP with what those part numbers are. I'm hoping that the special cams and valve springs and exhaust are part of this. I think they are. Also the rear diffusor which I've been looking for and the E brake handle and lighted door sills which are green in color.

Update, I have the parts those numbers correspond to. I want to buy the following

The sport exhaust
The E brake handle
The sport steering wheel in Dark Quartz which I'm assuming is the dark gray/black interior on my Alabaster
The door lock pins
The inlluminated entrance panels
I'd love to order the wheels but don't know if thats per wheel or for a set of two front and then two rear with tires. But I doubt it, I think that per wheel without tires. Can you please clear this up with Anthony.

Here is the price list and parts broken down.

To purchase any of the parts from the list, contact Anthony at Brabus on the phone number listed in post #1 on the first page of this thread.

MAYAman, why are there 2 prices for each part? Is the top one (ex. ####$200) discounted price and the bottom one (ex. $458.70) the original price? [for the ZH-450-00 STARTECH REAR SPOILER FOR RAISING SPOILER]

Sorry its the way the Excel spreadsheet came from Brabus.

The very bottom price is original price

The middle price is the special price

And the first price if avialble is the very special price or blowout price.

I'll be shopping come mondy.

Will a Brabus sport suspension for the R170 SLK fit the Crossfire? How about the Brabus stablizer bar kit?

I can get a good deal on these but need to know if they'll fit.

thanks

it dosent seam like anthony really wants to sell the products I have been calling and emailing him and not getting much out of it..

I called him about the roof spoiler and brabus shocks and he keeps telling me he will find out about those parts and call me back, but such has not happened, I have emailed him as well on these products and have yet to receive a reply.. I am ready to make the purchase, but he is not ready to make the sale..
